This two story beach house has an amazing position in the heart of the Bay of Fires with direct ocean frontage to Swimcart Beach and coastal views north along the Bay of Fires to Sloop Rock and Eddystone Point. At night enjoy the stars and watch Eddystone Point lighthouse flashing in the distance. Sleep with the crash and tumble of the surf only a few metres away on nearby Swimcart Beach ringing in your ears. By day the beach is a minute's stroll out your front door across the beautiful coastal reserve on a cleared track. Venture a little further across the narrow Jeanneret Point and you are on the azure white sands of the beautifully sheltered Jeanneret Beach. It will be immediately apparent why Jeanneret is so popular with families and young children in summer. In other seasons you may have both beaches to yourself. The home is surrounded by native trees and plants on a large, cleared flat block. It includes two bedrooms - the first with a queensize bed and the second with a double bed, both with built in robes. The lower level is completed by the bathroom, an open plan kitchen/dining and lounge area featuring a flat screen TV, DVD, quality lounges and settings, a wood heater and great views of the sea. A double bed folds out in the lounge so that the property sleeps up to 8. Adjoining and downstairs leaving area is a large timber deck with outdoor setting and a gas barbeque for al fresco dining in the shade of the trees and with views to the sea. Upstairs enjoy fabulous views from the open plan rumpus room featuring an eightball table and a second TV, DVD and lounge underneath the timber lined cathedral ceiling. There are two single beds tucked away in dormer windows, ideal for children, and a study nook with chair and desk for those quieter moments. The rumpus room is serviced by a second toilet and basin, also tuck into the roof line, so there is no need to venture downstairs at night. There are easy but fabulous coastal walks in either direction. Wander south around a beautiful headland to Binalong Bay Beach and along it to the comforts of Angasi Restaurant for papers, a coffee or a gourmet breakfast in the morning or enjoy lunch or dinner featuring local produce matched with fine Tasmanian Wines. If the restaurant appeals, but not the walk, its a 5 minute drive. In the other direction, indulge in some beachcombing along Swimcart Beach, view lagoons and more beaches and stunning coastline at Cosy Corner, Seaton Cove and Sloop Rock.
